Our Transformations

Educational Center of DUHA Soběslav Kindergarten
In the new design of the school garden in Soběslav, we have reflected all seven colors of the rainbow. That’s exactly how many zones can now be found in this charming and inviting space. Each zone has its own color, symbolizing both its unique purpose and its quality.

Educational Center of Mnichovice Kindergarten
At the beginning, there was a vision of a new school garden with a well‑thought‑out concept. Then we joined in and helped turn the architect's and her team's design into reality. This is how a new world of play, learning, and gathering was born—one that the local community, and especially the children, instantly fell in love with.

Educational Center of Telecí Kindergarten
We helped the kindergarten create ideal conditions for environmental education in its garden while preserving its family‑friendly character. As a result, the space has naturally become a center of activity in this picturesque Pardubice village, where it blends in beautifully.

Educational Center of Kindergarten Vincenc Makovský in Ostrava
We transformed a space once filled with asphalt and concrete at a housing estate kindergarten in Ostrava into a pleasant grassy area, enriched with garden beds, water features, and even a living willow structure. The nonprofit parents' association Veselá školička now has a beautiful new space where they can host various events for people from the wider community.

Educational Center of Čtyřlístek Kindergarten in Kadaň
We supported the creation of a new "four‑leaf clover" garden. Children, parents, and teachers from the kindergarten continue to express their gratitude for our efforts in replacing old equipment and giving the overgrown greenery and entire garden a beautiful yet highly functional new design.

Bažantnice Lives – Revitalization of Hodonín After the Tornado
We play a key role in the recovery of Hodonín after the devastating tornado. In addition to immediate assistance for families, we provide long‑term support by funding the restoration of public spaces. We are involved in a total of seven projects. The first one, the House of Nature with its garden, was officially inaugurated with our partners in June 2024.

Park U Červených domků in Hodonín
Support the creation of a workout playground and a climbing wall for the public in the Hodonín park.

Children's Village in Hodonín
The MAAUS studio (an architectural and urbanisation studio from Brno) took the opportunity and fully engaged in designing the restoration of the destroyed children's town area. On the site, where only two brick buildings remained after the tornado, 13 new cabins will be built. And not just that.

Park in Front of the U Červených Domků Elementary School in Hodonín
In front of the U Červených Domků School, we are creating a new playful and relaxing space for both children and adults. You will find trampolines, unique play elements, a sand dune, and seating among flowers. Our goal is to transform the area around the school into a pleasant place for all visitors and residents of the housing estate.

Sports Complex U Červených domků in Hodonín
The Karel Komárek Family Foundation is proud to be part of building an attractive sports complex of the future. We are helping to enrich the open space, which will make every athlete's heartbeat faster, by encorporating elements of modern architecture. There will also be places for relaxation and, of course, greenery. Spectators will watch the performances of their favorite athletes not only from the main stand but also from the stand at the field with an artificial surface.

Suburban Forest Park Bažantnice in Hodonín
A valuable piece of nature, which we carefully protect together with the help of our partners, will provide peaceful spots for rest as well as opportunities for active recreation. Rare and specially protected plant and animal species are thriving after the tornado, and nature is finding its own way to recovery.

Revitalization of Jiráskovo Square and the Monastery Garden in Pilsen‑Slovany
We are part of a project that will restore the original beauty of Jiráskovo Square and make the monastery garden accessible to the public. Thanks to this restoration, the square and the garden will become attractive places for residents and visitors of Plzeň.
