WHEN

9 September 2026, 16:00–19:00

Children’s Village, Hodonín

The restoration of Children’s Village is one of the projects created in response to the devastating consequences of the tornado. Bringing it back into operation marks another important step in the long term renewal of Hodonín.

Programme

  • 16:00 – ribbon cutting ceremony and official opening of Children’s Village
  • 16:30 – site opens to the public
  • 17:00–19:00 – Public Forum of the City of Hodonín

The Public Forum Will Follow Directly on Site

The Public Forum is organised by the City Development Department of Hodonín as part of the local Healthy City programme.

The meeting will provide space for discussion of citizens’ suggestions, proposed development projects, and questions and comments on how the city functions.

Where Can You Come?

The event will take place directly on the Children’s Village site. Access to the site is possible from Erbenova Street or I. Olbrachta Street.

We look forward to opening, together with you, a place that will bring joy to children and adults alike.

Further Hodonín Renewal Projects

Bažantnice Lives – Revitalization of Hodonín After the Tornado

We play a key role in the recovery of Hodonín after the devastating tornado. In addition to immediate assistance for families, we provide long‑term support by funding the restoration of public spaces. We are involved in a total of seven projects. The first one, the House of Nature with its garden, was officially inaugurated with our partners in June 2024.
