Meeting of Universities Offering the Preschool Education Programme – Round Table Discussion

In cooperation with the Faculty of Education at the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, we organised a meeting of academic staff responsible for teaching in preschool education study programmes. The aim of the meeting was to create space for sharing experiences, mutual inspiration, and professional discussion on how to effectively integrate the outdoor environment into early childhood education. The meeting took place on 27 November 2025 at the foundation’s premises in Prague 6.

The meeting was attended by Miluše Vítečková and Marie Najmonová from the Faculty of Education at the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. They introduced the programme and opened the discussion on the role of the outdoor environment in preparing future kindergarten teachers. Psychiatrist Vladimír Kmoch shared his insights on using school gardens to support children’s mental and physical health. Alena Krejčová and Lucie Menhartová, together with Marie Najmonová, presented the elective course Outdoor Education in the Kindergarten Environment.
