We warmly thank all respondents.
As a foundation, we have long supported children and young people engaged in the arts. We know exceptional talents grow up in every region, but they do not always have enough opportunities to develop.
To change that, we need the views of those who deal with arts education every day. The experience of teachers, parents, mentors, and young artists themselves is essential and will help us target support where it is truly needed.
We prepared the research with support from the MenART Scholarship Academy, which has been connecting young artists with teachers and leading figures of the Czech arts scene for eight years.
Possible reward for participants
As a thank you for your time, all research participants will be entered into a draw for 20 tickets to the international music Dvořák Prague Festival and 20 tickets to the Concertino Praga finals in September 2026.
Thank you for your time and willingness to share insights that will help us improve conditions for young artists across regions.
Questionnaires for the Arts Education Research
Mapping instrument equipment at primary art schools
The Pianos for Schools project has supported music education and the development of instrument equipment at primary art schools for several years. Over the past five years, we have delivered nearly 100 pianos and uprights to schools across the country, worth more than EUR 1.65 million. To continue providing targeted support where it is most needed, we need to know the current condition of pianos and uprights at these schools. We are interested in their age, technical state, and any need for repair or replacement.
We therefore ask heads of primary art schools to complete a short questionnaire. The data collected will allow us to plan further support as effectively as possible.
Possible reward for schools
From the participating schools, we will draw two that will receive an exclusive piano workshop with Tomáš Kačo in November 2026.
