They affected the lives of thousands of residents, caused enormous damage to infrastructure, homes, and farmland, and left many families without their homes and possessions. The disaster triggered an extraordinary wave of solidarity that united thousands of people, companies, and nonprofit initiatives. Thanks to humanitarian organizations, aid worth CZK 673 million reached those affected over the past year.
