Supporting Activities for Children

We were at the inception of this project, which focuses on supporting extracurricular activities for children and young people. Thanks to this initiative, children from financially disadvantaged families can engage in activities that develop their talents and interests, whether in sports, arts, or science.

O projektu

The Supporting Activities for Children project allows parents to receive financial contributions for their children's after‑school activities. Since its launch in November 2022, a total of 8,572 children have received support in the form of vouchers, distributing a total of 15.4 million CZK.

The project is organized by the Czech Council of Children and Youth, which provides financial aid not only thanks to our foundation's support but also through contributions from other partners. These include Sazka, a.s., the City of Prague, the ŠKODA AUTO Endowment Fund, the Eva Pavlová Endowment Fund, and the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports of the Czech Republic.

In addition to financial support through her foundation, First Lady Eva Pavlová also serves as the project’s patron. We are grateful for her involvement.

This is a very important and valuable initiative, especially in today's socio‑economic climate. I am convinced that it brings joy and support to many families while giving children the opportunity for self‑realization. I am honored to be part of this project.

For the second half of the 2024/2025 school year, we will allocate at least 3 million CZK to support extracurricular activities for a minimum of 2,000 children.

I admit that this support is very important for us. Without it, we would somehow manage, but it would be significantly more difficult.

For many parents, it is quite challenging—they want to provide their children with extracurricular activities because they see the value in them, but at the same time, they have to provide other necessities that are vital for their family. I accessed the financial aid, and I am very grateful that we had this opportunity.

It helped us a lot, because my son Max got the chance to join a choir. He regularly spent quality time with his teacher and friends.
