We supported the creation of a new "four‑leaf clover" garden. Children, parents, and teachers from the kindergarten continue to express their gratitude for our efforts in replacing old equipment and giving the overgrown greenery and entire garden a beautiful yet highly functional new design.

The kindergarten garden is a space where children learn to be part of nature. In line with the vision “On a common journey towards uniqueness,” the garden transforms into a living classroom each day. Here, children learn to understand the cycles of life and the responsibility that comes with caring for living things and the environment.

The garden is a collaborative effort involving children, teachers, parents, and the wider community. It also functions as a venue for community events and intergenerational connection.

It is a full‑fledged educational space where children's cognitive and socio‑emotional skills are nurtured. They observe, explore, plant, care for crops, harvest, engage in sports, and relax. In the greenhouse and raised beds, they learn about plant life cycles. In the earthworm house, they explore life beneath the soil and practice teamwork. This is where they discover not only science, but also patience, mindfulness, and empathy.

I have served on the board of our preschool since 2014. I believe that education has the power to transform when it is built from collaboration, sharing, and respect for the uniqueness of each child. I see the nature garden as a space where children can develop freely ‑ sensually, emotionally, socially and intellectually. For me personally, the garden is a symbol of growth ‑ not only for children, but for us adults as well, if we have the courage to learn with them.

What we did

We supported the creation of a new “four‑leaf clover” garden. Children, parents, and teachers from the kindergarten have expressed their appreciation for the replacement of old equipment and the transformation of previously neglected greenery into a beautiful, highly functional space.

Our efforts have helped inspire children to spend much more time outdoors, exploring the restored garden and its secrets. To enrich their adventures, we installed wind chimes and wooden logs, set up an outdoor kitchen, a sandpit, and a water cascade, and constructed palisades and a bridge with a tunnel. These imaginative play elements not only invite curiosity but also support psychomotor development and help children test their boundaries through healthy, meaningful risk‑taking.
