About the Transformation
What we achieved
Significant terrain modifications were carried out. The original old paving and brick shed were replaced with paths made of natural materials and a new central area. This space was designed to be interesting with its variety and articulation, including terrain irregularities, and the area is complemented by water channels. We utilized original elements, transformed them, and integrated them into newly created nooks that invite exploration. Children and teachers alike enjoy the wooden piers among the trees, huts and palisades made from acacia logs, a tunnel woven from willow branches, and water features.

More about the transformation
The garden connects. This is the name the kindergarten chose for the project. Along with four other kindergartens, it succeeded in our grant call announced at the end of 2017. The kindergarten also participated in grant programs of several other organizations. The results of the project have meant that children can learn outdoors throughout the year, maintain contact with nature, develop their motor and social skills, and also learn to spend some time alone.
