Valentýna Ibriqi

Valentýna Ibriqi began playing the piano at the age of eight under the guidance of teacher Ellina Belčiková. Just a year later she broke through with a victory in the competition; Young Pianists Play Steinway & Sons. Soon after, she became its overall winner. Since then she has been collecting awards at competitions in the Czech Republic and abroad.

In recent years Valentýna has won first places among others: at the International Smetana Piano Competition, the Peter Toperczer Competition in Košice, Broumovská klávesa, the Franz Liszt Competition, and the Amadeus Competition. She has also been successful at prestigious showcases such as: Virtuosi per Musica di Pianoforte, Golden Piano Talents, and Merci Maestro in Belgium. Valentýna’s performances have repeatedly earned special favor from juries for exceptional interpretive ability and artistic maturity.

Valentýna has appeared on important stages including: the Prague Spring festival, Dvořák Prague, Smetana’s Litomyšl, and winners’ concerts in Leipzig and in North Macedonia.

She is also a laureate of the Golden Nut award. She continues to deepen her musical development in the MenART mentoring program and at the Prague Conservatory’s international courses under the guidance of music pedagogue Milan Langer.
