Revitalization of the Forest Park on Santos Island in Sušice
We took care to sensitively revive the legacy of the First Republic and carefully combined the historical heritage of the place with the needs of today's residents.

What we have accomplished
We helped create an environment that is attractive to visitors while respecting and preserving the natural and cultural values of the river island. The revitalized Santos Island continues the famous beginnings from the First Republic era, when it was a social center of the river. We supported vegetation adjustments that respect the character of the floodplain forest and integrated an architectural concept based on the idea of a boat on the Otava River and includes artistic elements.

More about the transformation
The foundation also organized the preparatory phase of the project and the architectural competition. We processed the project documentation and paid great attention to the artistic aspects of the park's revitalization. The island is now decorated with four sculptures by sculptor Václav Fiala, enhancing the aesthetic and cultural richness of the place.
