About the project
In line with the foundation’s mission, we are currently transforming the garden at the Kindergarten Třebechovická in Hradec Králové. The new school garden will reflect the educational program of this kindergarten. A thoughtfully designed space will be created, divided into several zones – ranging from educational and relaxation areas to those focused on play and creativity.
The plans include water features, new greenery planting, spaces for working with natural materials, and a gazebo, which will serve not only as an outdoor classroom but also as a space for community gatherings.
The renewal of the garden is being designed by Rehwald Landscape Architects – architects Radka Matoušková and Tomáš Černý.
A number of institutions will participate in the implementation, including the Faculty of Education at the University of Hradec Králové, the Secondary School of Applied Arts for Musical Instruments and Furniture, and the Secondary School of Services, Trade and Gastronomy. Cooperation is also planned with the local and municipal companies such as Municipal Forests of Hradec Králové and Hradec Services.
The city will receive financial support of 60,000 EUR from the foundation for the development of the space.
