Kindergarten Čakovice II, Prague 9 – Třeboradice

We successfully motivated teachers, parents, and the community to actively and enthusiastically participate in the garden restoration. Thanks to this collective effort, a charming piece of land was created on the outskirts of Prague, inspiring reflection on the diversity of nature.

If you want to support this project, you can do so as a volunteer.

About the Transformation

What we achieved

We equipped the previously bland plot between walls with tastefully designed play elements, mostly made of wood. We included chalk drawing boards generously, established a large sandbox, wove wicker huts, and built a truly original misting area. The garden also features an elevated terrace space, allowing even the youngest observers to watch the happenings in the adjacent street.

The garden transformation was a major experience for all of us. I believe we can say with a clear conscience that it turned out well. We’re happy to be able to offer the children something out of the ordinary.

More about the transformation

We helped a project focused on environmental education and deepening the relationship with nature to come to life. The project, named "Our Landscape," allows children to freely move through an orchard, a country garden, or explore forest wilderness. Biodiversity plays an important role in experiencing different environments, which is why the garden includes birdhouses, an insect hotel, and beds for vegetables and herbs.
